Wordless Wednesday with poems of City Museum

Not quite Wordless Wednesday
A few poems:
Creative crawling cages, mangled metal morphing into magic spaces, speedy slides of spare parts, spare parts and pottery pieces patterned into insects, into every inch an imagination feast! Scaling up slippery slopes, holding knotted ropes,
only to slide down again and start it all over.
Are vertical slides really slides?
Shouldn't we call them drops?

Here is a poem the kids put together:
Exciting enchanting exploring
Historic happy heights
Jumping Jabbering Junk
Springing Slides
Pip pop pipe
Tree to trash

Wordless Wednesday - Shark Teeth

The cousins, what a crew! Robert (11), Angela(6), Evelyn(8), Amber(10), Raeley(13), Jonathan(9), Emily(11), Cameron(6)
Cameron, Angela, and Kimberly

Who would've thought that there were shark teeth NOT along the coast? Come to find out, there's some not to far from where we live! Due to proximity and anonymity, I won't mention where that is. My sister and her kids are visiting this week. Here's her blog! We had a great time! For more Wordless Wednesday posts, you can find them at Five Minutes for Mom.com

Wordless Wednesday - Car Mirror

Raeley took this picture a few weeks ago on our way to visit the Huffmans. Can you tell that she was in the front seat using her visor mirror? Robert and Cameron are looking up from playing on the computer.

Wordless Wednesday - Squirrel Sitting

How random is it that we babysat an injured squirrel last weekend?

Wordless Wednesday - Buster the dog

Buster busted! As you can see, Buster got caught getting his head caught in a box of dog treats!

Lately Buster has been our escape artist. We finally put up an electric wire along the inside of the fence to shock the dogs when they try to get out. Yesterday, however, Buster shocked us all by jumping over our 6 foot fence! He jumped at the fence then climbed clawed up and catapulted himself over. Still the escape artist!

Wordless Wednesday - Basketball in High Heels

This was a fun time of goofing off with a few of my kids. Yes, I am blocking my son's shot, and yes, I am wearing high heels! No, I am not a ball hog.

Wordless Wednesday - Hunting

This is a buck Mark shot tonight. It was walking too fast for Robert to have a shot at. Jonathan was with his Big Daddy and they didn't see anything. It's the biggest buck of the season!

Wordless Wednesday - Good Old Books

We hunt for Gene Autry books, published in 1950. They are exciting stories that keep the whole family intrigued and introduce us to vocabulary you just don't hear anymore. My parents are in town visiting and we went antique shopping today and found one! This is the third one we have found.

Wordless Wednesday - Busy Holiday Stuffing

Phew! the race is on to get Christmas baking wrapped up - literally, and to get packed. Pray I'll keep my cool - I am STRESSED! I'm glad my kids are big helps! I don't know why I decided to make caramel popcorn this year. I am so tired of popcorn with all the boyscout popcorn we sold.

Wordless Wednesday

Popcorn, Popcorn, Popcorn!

The boys are getting ready to deliver the popcorn they worked so hard to sell. Don't they look handsome in their uniforms?
